Molina Healthcare donates to local organizations

MINNEHAHA — The Clark County Food Bank was among 30 health care providers, food banks, tribal nations and other community organizations in Southwest Washington to receive aid from Molina Healthcare of Washington. The organization, which provides government-funded care for low-income individuals, committed $16 million to aid communities impacted by the pandemic. The Clark County Food Bank received a $8,000 check on Oct. 30. Other organizations on the receiving end of aid include the Legacy Health System, The Vancouver Clinic, Vancouver Pediatric Care, Columbia River Mental Health Services, Lifeline Connection, Vancouver Treatment Solutions, and many others. “This pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for the most basic human needs in every community, including access to food, housing, employment, health care, and so much more,” said Peter Adler, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “Molina is committed to deepening our collaboration with providers and community partners to address these needs and to enhance access to health care services before, during, and beyond this public health crisis.” For more information, visit MolinaHealthcare.com.
